Friday was Emma's third birthday. We had lots of people in town so we decided to celebrate her birthday on Saturday. We made chocolate cake with chocolate frosting for her birthday, that is the only thing she wanted (no toys.. just chocolate cake.. what a change).
What a great celebration for her.
Pictures to come soon.

Way to long
Chadwick is doing well and continues to enjoy his job. It keeps him busy and away from the girls more than he would like. He is a great daddy and loves every minute that he can be with the kids.
We had a busy summer camping with friends, taking day trips with friends, girls/guys night outs, block party and being outside enjoying the weather. It was a chilly summer but we spent many days outside enjoying it anyway.

Summer FINALLY
It is finally summer here in Chicago! We went through a very rainy June but the last few days have been great!
Emma is back to her old self! We are so happy to have her back! She LOVES being outside and playing in the water. She is so sweet with Kayla again. Emma is always busy running here and there, jumping, dancing, climbing and just being 2! It is so wonderful to see her so healthy and happy. I am often reminded of how lucky we were that she is so "normal".
Kayla continues to keep up with Emma. SHe is so sweet with Emma. They really love each other. We are in awe of the things that this little one can do. She is amazing. We are so fortunate to have her.
We got a new computer so we need to get the software for the camera put on the new computer.

More Pictures
It has been a long week here in the Sullivan household. Chadwick worked long long hours this week and the girls missed him a lot. He missed seeing them almost every night. It was a bummer for them.
The girls
Emma and her crazy hair. She was mad that we were taking her picture with her hair "a mess"

Hours of fun!

Kayla is so smart! She is singing the ABC's, can spell her name and Emma's name, will tell you that she is 1.5 years old (she actually says one half) and that Emma is 2.5 (2 half). She is busy busy busy and loves to walk, go to the park and be outside. She is also using the potty on a pretty regular basis. She is talking in sentences and is just so happy most of the time. She is great to Emma and will give her her blanket when she sees it.
Emma is also doing well. She has been a handful recently. Her behavior is terrible. She has been very agressive with Kayla and other children. It is a whole new side of Emma. We have no idea where our sweet little girl went. We think this is a phase but hope it passes soon.

Kayla update
Ahhh.. the difference 2 weeks makes. Today was the last time that a nurse will come. Her burn is so much better. We no longer have to use strong prescription medication and are on to over the counter bacitration. Kayla no longer has to wear the gauze and the "burn suit". She still has to take a bath every night but we are happy that her burn is almost all healed. We have pictures to post soon. Thanks for all the prayers for Kayla.

Kayla
Kayla has had a rough week. On Monday, she dumped boiling hot jell-o water on her tummy. She has a sever 2nd degree burn over her whole tummy 6" by 3" We have a home health care nurse coming in every day to bathe her and scrub her burn. It is awful. We went to the burn clinic today (Friday). The Dr. gave her a stronger pain med. and some different cream to help it heal faster. We hope it will mean less days of burn scrubbing. That is screaming I could do without. Prayers for a quick healing for Kayla.
